My wife and I will be in Positano for a week in mid February without a car. Any suggestions for day trips via bus, boat or train? Any of your favorite restaurants would be appreciated as well. Thanks!

Two easy day trips from Positano are Capri and Amalfi/Ravello. You can take a boat to Capri and to Amalfi from the Positano waterfront. You get to Ravello via a short bus ride from Amalfi.

Do you like history? Be sure to see the ancient Greek temples at Paestum. Take the bus to Salerno. Hop on another bus for the ride south of town. I was there in 2001 and Rick's book had all the needed info. Very easy trip.
