My husband and I are interested in doing a guided day trip from Florence to Siena and San Gimignano ~ any recommendations for tours that you have used?

Hi Mary Jo,
I returned from Italy just one month ago. While there, I did the Best of Tuscany Tour, which you can check on Tripadvisor, and it was well priced and worth the time. We went to Siena, San Gimignano, and a winery with lunch. Then on to Pisa for a short visit. The cost was 80 euro for the day. You may want to check it out. Also, we did Tuscan Wine tour with Rebecca (http://tuscan-wine-tours.com) Whiuch was wonderful. She limits her group to no more than 8 people and we visited the countryside and two wineries. Check them out if this sounds like what you would like to do.

This company just opened a storefront on Via dei Neri and they also rent iPhones that have self guided tours around Florence - seems pretty interesting.
