Hi, Collin, I just googled "day trips from Siracusa" and see that there are possibilities on both tripadvisor and viator. I suggest that you play around with those websites to see if anything works for you. It might be also that (if you are looking for a group tour and not a private tour) that you will do best to take an early morning train from Siracusa to Catania (about one hour) and get picked up by the tour group in the Catania train/bus parking lot. That's what worked for Sister and me (staying in Siracusa/Ortigia) when we took a tour of Mt. Etna last year. Because of the geography - the highway from Catania to Agrigento is much more direct - there may be more, and cheaper, possibilities if you are willing to get picked up in Catania.

You could rent a car for a day and do it on your own, but it would be difficult to do both in a day. It would be easier with a tour since you wouldn’t have to drive on unfamiliar roads.
