Day Trip to Pettorano, Italy - Interpertor

Doing a day trip to Pettorano. Does anyone know of interpreters / guides to help with the small-town visit. I'm told that English is not spoken. Hometown of my father.

If you mean Pettorano sul Gizio then according to a web search Monte Genzana Alto Gizio Regional Nature Reserve Office is located in the town itself and handles visitor info for the village. Website is https://www.riservagenzana.it (google translate is your friend here).

You can email them and ask if they can recommend some English-speaking local guides and mention your dad is from the village. i'm guessing some of the people working in the office may recognize the family name. You don't say when you are going but it may be better to do this well in advance because if you want to see town and church records they may only be open a small number of hours. The guide can help you pick the best day to visit and make any needed appointments to see them.
