How would I go from Montegrotto terme to Lake Garda? Is there a train and what stop do I get off. Would also like to see Verona while I am there.

Takes about 2 hours to Peschiera Del Garda by regional train for 9.25 EUR each way. Change trains in Padova and Verona, so you can stop there if you have time. Just type in Montegrotto in the "From" box and the actual train station name will be prompted.

Sometimes a one day rental car is the best way to see places like Lake Garda. You can just get so much more out of the trip that way.

Hi
Is it expensive to rent a car for a day? My concern is that I have ADHD and anxiety so driving might be stressful plus I would be easily distracted by the scenery. If I did the train, it sounds doable to do it. Just might make it a long day but so are my other 13 days..

It is about 1/2 mile walk to the ferry terminal on the other side of the river, walking through the old island fortress. Looks like there are buses as well, but no idea about the schedule.
