Hi We will be at Bologna for a week, 4 days at Lucca, 5 days at Milan in mid- May. Want to know from which of these three places will it be the easiest to do a day trip to CT?

Lucca...by car 90km 1H. By train 2H. You have to backtrack to Pisa to catch the train to La Spezia

Thanks Gerri Is there a option of travel by bus from Lucca to La Spezia or the nearest of the villages(which would that be travelling from Lucca)
