Day trip to Cerveteri?

Rick Steves says that Cerveteri is a World Heritage site that doesn't impress him much:
https://blog.ricksteves.com/blog/unesco-world-heritage-sites-that-dont-impress-me-much/

That was in 2007.
I'm planning a trip to Rome - 3rd time there (and elsewhere) and was thinking of keeping Cerveteri on a list of things to do.
It seems to be the kind of thing my wife and I like.
Maybe it has grown in size and plaques and .... since Rick wrote his piece?

Has anyone been there in the last few years and want to say what its like?

Thank you.

I haven’t been there, but I went to nearby Tarquinia which was fascinating with the Etruscan tombs!

Well I liked them! They have a movie that I unfortunately missed, but it explains the site. The tombs are a little repetitive maybe, but seeing a few of them is interesting, as is the size and layout of the site. There are some nice views as well, but not sure what the town itself is like. I stopped on the way down from southern Tuscany and also saw Tarquinia. If you rent a car, you could do both. It’s an interesting contrast in the tomb styles, and Tarquinia had a museum in town with the sarcophagi and pottery of the Etruscans. It’s that extra “stuff” that Cerveteri is missing.
