Day Trip In Campania

My thirteen-year-old daughter and I are staying at a b&b In Ercolano. We’ve been up to the top of Vesuvio, and we’ve seen the ruins at Ercolano and Pompeii. Tomorrow we’re going to Paestum.

We’ll have one more day in the area after that, and I’m looking for a nice day trip to finish (preferably at a location with a parking lot). Where have you been, and what did you like?

You're about a 1/2 hour drive from Caserta Palace, italys' answer to Versailles.

If this is of interest, parking is easy, just follow the signs for the train station. Parking is underground and you exit into the palace park.

Entrance to the Palace is straight ahead. I believe they have limited hours in January, so check before you go.

Have fun.

Your temps the day you go should be in the hi 50s.
