Hello! I'll be staying three nights in Baveno, and would like to take a day trip to Switzerland. It'll be my first trip to Switzerland. Any suggestions on which of the little towns near there that I should visit...and the best means of getting there? I'd appreciate any and all suggestions!!! Thanks - Kiki

From Milan train station it's about 4 hours to Zermatt Switzerland. That might be the closed "little" town for a day trip...still 8 or more hours by train back and forth with transfers...
Dont' try to do to much. It seems that most people think Europe is so small, but it takes some time to get between places.
Check out a map either on line, or buy one at a store. That will help you to plan where/if you can do a day trip to someplace with the time and money to get there!
