We are looking for a day trip for 2 adults from Florence for Sunday, July 5th, 2015. Any recommendations for sites to visit (including the names of tour companies to use would be appreciated). If the tour involves food/wine/olive oil, that's great, but we prefer not to spend the time on a formal cooking lesson. Thank you!

Rick Steves recommends www.toursbyroberto.com. Or, to visit just a single city like Siena, it's simple to take the direct bus from the bus station which is located pretty much across the street from Florence's Santa Maria Novella train station.

Thank you, Laura. I do not see that Roberto has any tours available on Sunday July 5. Is there another tour operator you can recommend? Thank you!
