My daughter and I will be in Rome for 5 days in July. We would like to take a day tour to the Amalfi Coast. Has anyone ever used Easitalytours? They do seem to be somewhat reasonable in price for a private tour.

You really can't go wrong with Easitaliatours. We did an all-day trip from Rome (11 hours) and covered Sorrento, Positano (great lunch), and Pompeii. Well worth the money. I hope you get Antonella as your guide. Have a great time!
That is a huge amount of ground to cover in one day. Curious - just how much time do you spend at Pompeii?
I'd agree with Frank: it's a very large amount of ground to try and cover in a day. Pompeii alone covers a vast area, and I wouldn't think you'd be seeing much of the Amalfi at all. It'll take about three hours just to get to Pompeii, and longer than that back to Rome coming back from the Amalfi area: too much road time for too little sightseeing, IMHO.
I look at it this way - a day trip to the area is not the ideal and you probably won't get as much sightseeing time in places as you would like, but if you only have a day and want to see these places if only for a bit to get a taste, then go for it. I've done day trips like this elsewhere that people said I was crazy to do and really enjoyed my time. You got one recommendation from the other poster for that tour company so you should be ok.
