Any one has any tour recommendations to visit dolomites from Venice? Probably a day trip. As i will be travelling solo, i dont want to rent a car.
What time of year? There are ski buses to Cortina during ski season.
During summer, the first train from Santa Lucia is at 5:15 and 2 changes to get to Calalzo at 8:27 where you get a bus to Cortina that takes another hour. Last train back from Calalzo is at 7:28 pm, and of course the bus before that around 6 pm.
Any day between June 9th-13th. I have been reading a lot about transit but i feel i will lose a lot of time just by hopping on one bus to another. So thought i will look for some tours.
i found this tour.

Its expensive but wondering if it is worth to take it?
112 EUR is not too bad. If you went train and bus, it would be about 30 EUR, but then you would just be in Cortina and still have to figure out the local bus system to get up into the mountains, what you're looking at.
I was looking at going around and enjoying the mountains. With just a day there i dont think i can do any quick hikes.
Do you think transit is easy option?
I read Cortina is major hill town it takes around 4 hours to get there by train and bus from Venice.
I think that is exactly what I said in my first post.
