We will be in florence for three nights. One of the days we would like to do a day tour to a hill town and to see a winery or two. Looking for something reasonably priced! Thanks!

Reasonably priced means different $$ to different people, but we found Tours By Roberto to be a great day out in Tuscany. He is a Rick Steves recommended operator and all around fun guy!

FYI 3 nights means only 2 whole days. you could go up to piazzale Michelangelo with a bottle of wine if you want views--it's just you will be cutting Florence a little short.

We used tour company Walk About Florence and took their "Best of Tuscany" tour which took us to Siena, San Gimignano and Pisa with a stop at an Organic Winery and farm where we had lunch. You will be part of a BIG group and get a small walking tour of each city then time on your own to wonder around. The bus is air conditioned and comfortable. I think it is a really good value for the price. I highly recommend this tour and this company.
