There are kiosks right outside train station at the dock
I don’t think the day entry fee has been implemented yet

It was supposed to be implemented January 16, 2023 but looks like it hasn’t happened yet?

I’ve been keeping track because I head to Venice in a few weeks. Last I read, the entry fee has been delayed at least 6 months.
