Day in CT

I wonder if someone could comment on this as a day in CT.

Early morning ferry to Riomaggiore
Walk around
Ferry to Porto Venere - eat lunch
Take ferry to one of the other villages
Ferry back to Monterosso for an afternoon at the beach
Train to Vernazza for dinner with a view
Train back
Book an evening boat trip

I would love recommendations for dinner with a view. Also saw a pesto lunch experience which might be fun. I have also found a hike that is organized.
I have read multiple articles and guide books and I am trying to stay flexible re: hiking trails to see what will be open or not.

I am also open to leaving the area early morning to venture Further afield. Is it possible to get to some hill towns further inland? I haven’t researched that yet.
Any comments? Thanks in advance.

A few thoughts.....

I can't remember how early the boats start operating, but it would be just as easy to take the train to Riomaggiore. Following your visit there you can take the boat to Porto Venere (I assume that's what you were referring to?) and the boat back to Monterosso.

I'll leave the "dinner with a view in Vernazza" to the others. Could you provide further details on the "Pesto lunch experience"?

Hi Ken,

Thanks for the typo correction. I shall edit that.

The pesto lunch experience is in Manorola actually. I thought it might be fun to do an activity. I always look for some activities when I am travelling solo. I have yet to reach out to them to see if they will accept a solo traveller.
