My wife and I arrive Milan (MXP) @ 08:20am. We will most likely take the train to the main train station. Any recommendations for one (1) night accommodations and what we should see while in Milan? I feel sure that we will both be tired after our travels from the US. The next morning we are taking the train to Cinque Terre for three (3) nights.

Get tickets way ahead to see The Last Supper. We enjoyed our stay at Antica Locanda Leonardo which was nearby Santa Maria Delle Grazie where The Last Supper is located.
We either walked or took a team to the Duomo area.

There are a number of decent hotels around the central train station. You are one or two metro stops from the Duomo and the general area that includes the Galleria, LaScala, etc. Good place to walk and stay in the sunlight for your jet lag.

Hotel Berna right by the train station gets excellent reviews from RS travelers (and on TripAdvisor as well).

We stayed at Hotel Berna which is an easy walk from Milano Centrale & metro stop nearby. It was great and had a wonderful breakfast buffet. Have a great trip!

Hotel Berna has been our choice for years. The property is near the train station, it's extremely clean, the staff is first-rate, and they serve the best breakfast in Milano.

I was not able to purchase tickets for The Last Supper, however tickets were available for the Duomo. Is it worth our time to spend the day and overnight in Milan, or just head to Cinque Terre? Thank you,
