On day 9 of the Italy My Way tour the itinerary says we leave Florence and spend 'several hours in a friendly hill town' on the way to Assisi. What town is it that we will stop in?

In some of the reviews of this tour I see mentions of Montepulciano as the hill town stop. But as Nigel said, the choice could vary depending on, say, some big event going on in one versus another that might affect access or enjoyability of a short visit.
