My son and I are toying with the idea of driving from Florence to Panzano Chianti to go the restaurant of Dari Cecchini.
The restaurant is called Officina della Bistecca.
Has anyone every eaten there?
Is it worth the drive in your opinion?
He was featured on Chefs Table on Netflix that is where we got the idea.

YES ! If you love beef !
Our neighbors and my brother and sister in law both raved about the experience. You do sit and eat for several hours so you need to go in hungry !
Panzano is lovely and is worth the drive whether you eat there or not !

I didn't know that he had a restaurant - I thought it was just the butcher shop. DH and I love this restaurant in Panzano

have been there on our 5th anniversary and again 2 years ago on our 15th for lunch. So beautiful and the food is wonderful - maybe you can go there for lunch and Dario's restaurant for dinner!

The restaurant is right across the street from the butcher shop. It’s quite a fun experience even in the butcher shop. We really loved the tiny little town of Panzano and the whole drive trough Chianti. It’s really beautiful.
