Hello,
Has anyone had a recent stay at the Daphne Inn or the Hotel due Torri(sister hotel to Hotel Fontane Borghese),or Hotel Modigliani in Rome? I have done a search using Tripadvisor & Venere. Reviews are quite dated for these properties. Like most, I'm seeking a comfortable, clean, centrally located, safe accommodation. Thanks for your help!!
Have you looked at the reviews in booking.com? It may give you some recent reviews, and if you have questions you could send a personal message to one of the people that did a review in TA.
Thank you for the help! I will have a look.
In the meantime any and all sugestions/experiences for quality accomodations are most appreciated!
Hi Carly--my sister-in-law has stayed at the Hotel due Torri and really liked it, but when my husband and I were in Rome we walked by it when we were in Piazza Navona, and we were glad we stayed near campo de' Fiori instead. We like the area around campo de' fiori better than the area around piazza navona--just a personal preference. We stayed at the Smeraldo and really liked it. Their website is smeraldoroma.com
Carly - My husband and I just returned last week from Rome and we stayed at the Hotel Adler and would recommend it. The rooms were spotless, fair size, great breakfast on the outside terrace and friendly helpful staff that spoke good English. It wasn't too far from the train station, about 10 minute walk, and near a metro stop, just about 3 minute walk. We liked it and would recommend it. The hotel was about one block from a busy street, so it was quiet, but easy to get to.
