I've heard that the movie Inferno will begin filming in Italy in April. Does anyone know of any more specific information about the locations or timing? Do you think there is any chance they will still be filming in late May when we arrive in Venice/Florence?

Are you sure it's not going to be filmed in Hollywood?
Nowadays all they need is some exteriors' footage filmed in Italy and then Tom Hanks act filmed in Holliwood is photo shopped in that footage via some computer software.

The only location in Italy I recall from the book is Florence. That should only take a couple of days.

There are also scenes in Venice. In any case, it will probably be done by the time we arrive.
