Cycling in Le Marche - any tips?

Has anybody done any cycling in Le Marche? All of the info that I've found has been very limited. I know that it can get pretty hilly, but I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of where to get information on specific routes, and how plausible it would be to bike there. My wife and I will be staying in Corinaldo. We don't mind hills, but lots of elevation changes won't work for us, being used to cycliing in the flat lands of Chicago.

Thanks,
Jan

Did a self guided bike trip in Le Marche in September of 2012. The most difficult tour we've done. Lots of mountains passes, and lots of climbing. Our tour took us from Cortona (not in Le Marche, but we wanted to see the town) to Sansepolcro on to San Leo, to Urbino, an over night in a tiny town of Piobbico, on to Gubbio and we finished in Assisi (again, not all of the tour was in Le Marche)

We went in September, and had cold temps, rain and snow over the mountain passes. The roads our tour used were great, no issues there, no traffic. While we enjoy the challenge of biking in Italy, this one was the most challenging we've ever done...more so than the hills of Tuscany.

We used IronDonkey for this tour, and it was customized for us. http://www.irondonkey.com/umbria-le-marche-italy-bicycle-tours.php
