I am heading to Milan for an appliance show with my husband. We would like to cycle for 3 days prior to the show.
I would like suggestions on things to see around Milan, Como Lake and cycling and hiking if anyone on this forum has info
I would really appreciate it.

Not sure about Lake Como. but just over the border in Switzerland there are some serious cycling options. Try these websites (Ticino is the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland adjoining Italy):
Something for you to do when you want a break from the cycling: Bergamo (roughly an hour by train from Milan), which has an extremely atmospheric medieval district on the top of a hill.
If you are interested in seeing The Last Supper, you should check on tickets now. I suspect that they are sold out for April, but there might be slots open on tours. The Duomo is the other major sight in Milan.
Most roads and paths are not next to the lake because villas (hidden in woods mostly) are on the lake. The best way to see the lake and houses on the lake is by being on the lake, either a boat or a ferry.
