CurreriViaggi.it - Rome to Sorrento

Hi, We tried to book our June bus trip from Rome to Sorrento yesterday. We got the website from RS book. We decided to go with Curreri as it has English in their site unlike Marozzi. We entered the route - Roma to Sorrento and furnish my name and address as requested. However, instead of being shown the seating. It just said, it will get back to me. Fortunately, it didn't ask for my CC #. Is this Normal? I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

Only Marozzi has the functionality to select a seat on the bus. I presume that Curreri will select the seat for you, based on the sequencing of reservations received.

Make sure you know where you're leaving from. Curreri also has a bus to Sorrento leaving early afternoon from FCO airport and buses from the Tiburtina bus station (where Marozzi goes from.) The Curreri web site offers Roma-Sorrento but does not specify departure point. Don't worry about seat numbers. You can prebook the trip and pay on the bus or at the "biglietteria. (ticket office.)

CORRECTION: Curreri has several daily airport buses from NAPLES airport to Sorrento, plus one bus (Monday through Saturday only, from April through October ONLY) from Roma Tiburtina Station to Sorrento. Curreri does NOT have a bus from FCO Airport to Sorrento. However, you can easily reach the Tiburtina Station in Rome from FCO by taking the airport train (the one going to Tiburtina for 8 Euros, and NOT NOT NOT the OTHER airport train going nonstop to Termini Station for 14 Euros). Marozzi has YEAR ROUND buses from Rome Tiburtina Station to Sorrento. Marozzi ADDITIONALLY has a daily bus from Roma Tiburtina Station to Sorrento-Positano-Praiano-Amalfi, from June through September ONLY. Marozzi also does NOT have a bus from FCO Airport to Sorrento. www.curreriviaggi.it www.marozzivt.it
www.ferroviedellostato.it (Trenitalia) Remember that you can also take a Trenitalia train from Roma Termini Station to Napoli Centrale, then connect to the half-hourly Circumvesuviana commuter train from Napoli Centrale (underground platforms) to Sorrento (4 Euros; 65 minutes).

Could it be that maybe they're too busy to look at the reservation made online?
