I am planning a trip for mid July. I am hoping to take a bus from Rome to Sorrento (to avoid going through Naples on the train). On the Curreri website, it states this route is not available, but will return...anyone have any s about the bus route? Can you buy bus tickets online ahead of time? Also, the same bus company has routes from Sorrento to the airport. Where can I purchase these tickets? Online? Thanks for any help!

A couple of years ago I tried to buy the airport bus tickets on - line but it does not work ie you get a print out but no seat reservation number and still have to pay (cash only) the bus driver on the day for the ticket! Also you have no priority for a seat so I don't know why they bother with the facility. The Marozzi bus company runs a service between Sorrento and Rome. http://www.marozzivt.it/web.aspx

We used the Curreri bus from Naples Airport to Sorrento. We paid 10€ before boarding. Did not need on line reservations. We also used the bus back to the airport. No problems. Comfortable bus.
