Headed out in a couple of days for the Best Of Sicily In 11 Days tour and wondering if anyone could fill me in on the current weather conditions, wildflowers and what fresh fruits and veggies are now available. Thanks!

I have no idea about flowers or produce, but you can check the current weather on just about any weather website. Here's accuweather. Once in country, I've decided it's best to ask my hotel's receptionist what website he or she prefers. In France, that seemed to give more accurate precipitation forecasts than weather.com or accuweather.

I am currently in Palermo preparing to leave Sicily after 14 days. The weather has been perfect. Light weight clothing and a light jacket are all that have been required. We had rain only once and it occurred overnight!
The wild flowers have been blooming everywhere on the island and the vegetable and fruit stands are brimming with fresh produce. The fennel, artichokes, fava beans, and wild asparagus are abundant along with many others.
You will have a wonderful experience.

For the past few days, Acireale has been overcast with a light wind. We have been in long pants, with light jackets or a lightweight fleece. Tomorrow we head for Lipari and hope the sun will come out!
