Leaving Friday for Florence, Venice and Rome! All I hear is how warm it is in the summer but currently looks like low's in 50's and high's in 70's. What to pack? Anyone just get back?

Cloudy with a chance of meatballs. In all seriousness, it will be much warmer than you think. Dress to be cool.

I was just in Florence this weekend and the weather is beautiful. I wore capris and sandals the entire time and never wore a jacket. Mid-to-high 70s sounds about right. It's a little chilly in the mornings, but you'll be fine walking around.

Once you get within a few days of your arrival date in those places, it's possible to use the usual weather forecast sites to get professional weather forecasts. These will generally be more useful to you than reports here about what weather was in the past for other people on other trips at other times.
