There are many listed online, not always with a date attached..…so I’m looking for the up to date phone numbers to pre book an early morning taxi to Florence Airport (FLR), in English.
I usually take the tram, but my flight leaves at 06:30, so need a cab this time.

AppTaxi has worked well for me in northern Italian cities and I know they are in Florence. I've only used it once to schedule a trip but you can 24 hours ahead. They will make the reservation for you and then confirm it. When we reserved the early morning taxi it arrived on time and it worked wll.
Apps really help eliminate the need to speak Italian to a rushed operator on the phone so they are a real advance that way.

I am trying to add the Taxi Move app to my phone. It does not accept a country code other than +39. Is there another workaround for iPhone registration? TIA
There is a workaround.
When you enter your US number, precede it by 00, which is the code to make calls out of Italy from a landline.
So for example, if your US number is 1-562-555-5555 enter on the app:
0015625555555
No spaces or hyphens, just numbers.
You should receive a verification code that way.
