We’ve scheduled a Colosseum/Forum tour on a Sunday morning in late May. Since the tour involves quite a bit of walking, I thought we could save the 30-minute hike from our Airbnb and arrive at the Colosseum by taxi or Uber. I’ve read online about no vehicular traffic near the Colosseum on Sunday mornings. Is this information outdated? Accurate? If so, I assume there would still be bus service. (We really aren’t staying close to a metro stop.) Does anyone know about this particular situation? Thanks.
Call a taxi cab from your apartment using the number +39 06 3570. Or use the taxi app.

I don't know where you are staying but Sundays are generally light in traffic.
Uber does not operate in Italy (prohibited by law court decision), except with Uber Black, a black limo service driven by a licensed limo driver which costs more than a taxi.
