I read on one site that Rome Culture Week is April 2-9, and most of the museums (except the Vatican and Borghese Gallery) are free. I cannot find anything on any other web site to verify this. Has anyone heard of Culture Week and what is included?

Actually March 25-31 is Culture week all over Italy.
There is a country wide free admission to most museums etc..
Our trip to Italy last year happened to coincide with Culture week. We were able to take advantage and see Pompeii, Ostia Antica and most museums in Rome free.
