Flying into CTA in October. Due to arrive 745 pm. No checked bags. Plan to rent a car. Is it crazy to think that we could get a car and drive to Randazzo that night? Planning on staying in Randazzo for 2-3 nights. How is the road up the north side ? Thanks

Unless you’re familiar with the roads and where you’re going exactly, I wouldn’t drive anyplace at night, especially after a long flight. I found the roads to be fairly poorly marked once off the autostrada and not any better with regard to street signs in the cities and towns. Just my opinion, but you’d be better off getting a room near the hotel, getting a good night’s sleep, and making the drive in the morning.
