CT to Pisa - driving time?

Only 30 days left till our trip - almost everything is done. Now I want to purchase our Leaning Tower tickets - we will be leaving CT on Tuesday 4/27 heading to Rome, and want to stop in Pisa for lunch/tower. We will have a car how long should I allow to drive from CT to Pisa? It doesn't look all that far. We will be staying in Monteresso at Villa Steno. Another general question, can I trust mapquest directions & times? I had mapquested another portion of our trip and when talking to a friend he said something to the effect of "oh you have to add 2 horus to whatever mapquest tells you) - I've never found that tobe the case? That's why I'm asking the experts here!!

Thanks

Chris- I checked my journal. We caught an 8:10 train out of Vernazza and rode it to Levanto where our car was. (Check the train schedules-if we had not caught an 8:10, we would have had to wait until 10:30 when we were there in 2008). We drove from Levanto to Pisa arriving about 10:45. We did not hit any slow traffic or anything. As you can see, a lot depends on where you park your car. (Levanto is north. La Spezia south and closer to Pisa, and if you park your car in Vernazza, you don't need the train at all) Our train was on time, and it only took minutes to ride to Levanto, another 10-15 minutes to walk to our car and load up and we were off. Hope this helps.
