Ciao! Solo traveler on a spontaneous weekend trip to the CT. Thinking of staying in Vernazza @ Albergo Barbara or Gianni Franzi...Flying in and out of Pisa. Any recommendations? Can I take a morning train from the CT in time to catch an 11;30am flite back to the states? Weather this time of year? Any recommendations? Grazie!

Sounds wonderful! Make sure, however, to leave enough extra time to get from Pisa to Cinque Terre and back via train; these regional trains can be very, very unreliable. Had a tough day at the Pisa station this summer heading to Cinque Terre. So much so that when we go back this spring, we're flying into Milan even though it's a longer train ride to Monterosso al Mare. Buon Viaggio!
