CT Park Passes

Can you buy a CT pass in any of the CT villages?

Karen, I bought my C.T. card at the train station in Riomaggiore, so I'm assuming it's available in all of the five villages. Note that the card has to be "validated" before use, similar to a train ticket.

Check Rick's Italy book regarding whether it's worthwhile to buy the Treno card. Some here disagree with his assessment, but you can decide whether this might be a good option.

I believe you can also buy the cards at the small wooden booths that are located at the entrance to each of the trails, although I've never used that approach so can't say for sure.

Happy travels!

There appear to be two CT cards. There is a Cinque Terre Card for the parks and trails. It does not include train travel. CLICK HERE to see a picture of the cards.

The second card is the Cinque Terre Treno card which does all of the above but also includes unlimited train rides from La Spezia to Levanto during the validated period on the card. This card has the Trenitalia logo on it whereas the CT card does not. CLICK HERE to see a picture of the this card. The CT Treno card is a bit more expensive than the CT Parco Card but well worth it.

To answer your question, I'm not sure of all the locations where you can purchase the card you want. However, we purchased our CT Treno card in the TI office in the La Spezia train station. I'm sure that it's available elsewhere in the CT but I can't specify.

I just got back from there and you can buy the cards all over the place. You can buy at each train station or at the start of the trails. They also have postings on if any of the trails are closed.
