We are finding plenty of available apartments in Vernazza and Monterosso in late January. But several of the restaurants are closed. An apartment owner we asked said "several" will be open. Does anyone know if that's correct?
How about farther north like Rapallo and Portofino area? Grazie!

Cinque Terre is empty in late January. There will be some places open, but the choice will be quite limited. Many buildings in the CT do not have robust heating systems, so be careful to inquire.
Rapallo and Santa Margerita are small cities and are active year round and there would be more choice. Portofino itself would be in hibernation.
