I hear a lot about how crowded the CT is in high tourist season. We're planning a trip there NEXT year and will be in Manarola in April or May. Should we be trying to stay there as early in April as possible to escape the crowds or will it be to cold in mid-April?

So is late April about the same as May in terms of crowds or is it going to be less crowded if we head there in April rather than May? Is late April warm enough to enjoy the coast?

It's OK to go in the warm weather. So it's a zoo there in the summer. So is Disneyland. For our trip there, the trains rides between towns were packed but it was OK. Everybody was fine with it. Manarola is one of the more quiet towns and is very nice.
