Does anyone know if there is any sort of evening ferry service in the Cinque Terre? My train from Florence arrives in La Spezia at 6:17 PM, and I could always take the train to my room in Vernazza, but I was thinking it would be cool to see things by water first if possible. The Navigazione Golfo Dei Poeti website doesn't show anything after mid-afternoon, but I wasn't sure if there were any other ferry services operating in the area. If not, that's ok!

If the ferry is running, you can take the local bus from La Spezia to Portovenere to pick it up. But, if the seas are high or rougn, the ferry won't run. There is no way you can know this in advance. We were there 3 days and they didn't run for 2 of them.

When we were there in May, ferries stopped running around 6:00 PM.
