My daughter will be celebrating her 13th birthday on holiday next month.
We're staying in Levanto and planning on visiting all 5 villages at Cinque terre.
Looking for ideas of something fun to do to celebrate her day
Gosh, I'd think a trip to Italy was a pretty sweet b-day present all by itself! 🙂
You might let her pick out a nice memento of the day from one of the shops?
You could also make reservations at a good restaurant and tell them in advance that it'll be a special occasion? Ask if there is a yummy dessert - complete with a candle or bring your own - that they could provide? I'd recommend Cantina di Miky in Monterosso: really good food but casual and laid-back enough to appeal to a young teen. See if they'll seat you on the terrace overlooking the sea or in the pretty, cozy little courtyard. Owners Manuel and Christine (he's a local; she's an American expat) are lovely people and I'm sure they'd come up with something.

One suggestion is to take a boat tour. We went to the Cinque Terre last month and I had two college aged girls and they wanted to take a boat tour. We took Fish & Chill with Diego: .http://www.cinqueterreboat.com/index_eng.html.
The normal tour has stops at Vernazza, a light meal, and time for snorkeling and swimming. The day we went the sea was a bit choppy and all the small tour boats cancelled. We were able to convince Diego to take us out for a 2hour tour (no meal, no swimming), for our girls, it was the highlight of the trip to Italy.
Enjoy your trip, the CT is amazing.

Small world! There was a question about a 13 year old with a birthday staying in Levanto here: https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g187817-i997-k11671488-Birthday_in_Cinque_terre-Cinque_Terre_Italian_Riviera_Liguria.html#92775695
Might be the same RS poster. :O)
Thankyou for some great suggestions guys!
Not such a coincidence that was also me on the tripadvisor forum! 😊
