Hi, Spending 9-10 days starting Mid Sept. in Nice for 2-3 days then to CT for 2-3 days. Looking for suggestions for the last 3-4 days. Have not been to Pisa, Genoa, Milan, or Bologna before.

tom, There are all kinds of possibilities. I agree with the previous comment that more information would be helpful, in terms of what you want to do and where you've been before. There are lots of more interesting locations than those you listed, but again this is a matter of personal taste. I'm assuming that you'll be flying home at the end of the nine days? Which airport will your outbound flight be departing from? One point to mention concerning the Cinque Terre. If you haven't booked accommodations yet, I'd highly recommend doing that SOON! It may already be too late to find something in one of the five towns. You could also consider staying in Levanto. Happy travels!

Thanks, not sure how detailed as new to this. Were sightseeing and relaxing, like to walk, museums see the locals. This just came up to get away so No I've not booked any lodging yet, only quickly trying to plan. Airport comming back is no problem. I can get out of any I've listed. We loved Florence and could end up their the last days.

Milan would be worth a day to see the Last Supper and Duomo and just to see the city than you coud spend the last 2 or 3 days in venice if you have never seen it.
