Help, we're going on our 1st cruise in October to several European areas (Italy, Spain, etc). I'm a little confused as to what the weather will be like. Some places I've read the weather in October is cool (high's in 60's), and some other places have reported weather in the high 70's to low 80's. Also, I'm not sure what the weather is like when you're at sea on a cruise ship. Is is cool, since you're at sea; or is it a nice warm breeze? I'd appreciate any input. Thanks
Europe is a large area so of course the weather will be different in different parts of it.
This is the best weather website for travel dates than 10 days out

Input your location and approx dates you'll be there and the site will return the last 10 years of weather, and you can make your best guess from that, which will be better information than anyone here telling you what the weather in "Italy" or "Spain" was like when they were there.
Weather while at sea: it's difficult to generalize but often it feels cooler on a ship, the ship is moving through the water at a given speed and that alone provides a "wind", in addition to whatever the actual wind is doing.
no matter the weather outside, whether in port or at sea, you will likely find the temperature inside the ship (cabins, dining rooms, lounges, theatres)quite cool, both day and evening. I was glad I had a lightweight sweater and wore it constantly - and that was during summer months. Alaska cruise mind you, but temperatures about the same as what you are listing.
