Crowds on Vaporetti, Now Armed Guards at Some Stops

A combination of tourists returning, trying to stay within Covid passenger limits, and ACTV still running a limited schedule has caused some problems in Venice...

Besides being too hot, it's one of the reasons I don't travel in Italy in the summer. Too crowded.

Major tourist sights and cities are best done either in shoulder season or off season. (I realize some have not choice but to travel in summer.)
