Covid vaccination certificate vs Covid recovery certificate

It seems like there is some confusion on whether the 6 month validity requirement (i.e., how long a certificate is valid) applies to the Covid vaccination certificate (measured from last vaccination dose) or to the Covid recovery certificate (measured from actual recovery from Covid). From what I have read on official sites, the 6 month validity requirement applies ONLY to the Covid recovery certificate, NOT to the Covid vaccination certificate. Any substantiation on this?

If you provide the link(s) to the official site(s) you've read this on, I would be happy to read and double check your understanding.

I see the language you are referring to and it also states those rules are valid until January 31, 2022. Is your trip before the end of the month? If not, I wouldn't worry about trying to figure out all the requirements until closer to your trip as the rules are constantly changing.

I understand the desire to get everything figured out ahead of time as I am a big planner. But when it comes to covid restrictions/requirements, you will save yourself a lot of time and stress if you wait until about a month before your trip before trying to figure everything out. And even then, you will have to keep checking.

You also need to be clear on whether you're asking about entry into the country or being able to go to museums, restaurants, etc. It's my understanding from other posts on the forum that there's a six-month limit on booster validity for participation in indoor activities.
