My husband and I are traveling this Thursday, April 28th from US and our flight arrives in Rome on Fri, 4/29. We are both fully vaccinated and have had both booster shots. Do we need a negative Covid test to get into Italy? There is so much information out there and it's so confusing, hoping someone can clarify for me.
Thank you!
No. Vaccination card showing all three and a passenger locator form
What if we have had two shots of the J&J vaccine?
I believe the answer can be found by using the tool posted above
You will not need a test to get into Italy/Rome (which is wonderful just now, by the way). You will need to get a test within a day of your return to get back into the US. These tests can be had at Farmacia all over the place (not any of them, but many them have tents out front and perform appropriate tests and attested results (on paper) within a half hour. Divertiti!
