covid antigen test coming back to United States

Hello Dear All. Sunday fly from Italy to Denmark and stay one night. Monday in the morning fly from Denmark to United States. When and where should I do the CDC required covid test to return to United States. Should I do the covid test in Rome on Monday ? or Should I do the covid test in Denmark on Tuesday ? Anybody has prior experience on this ? thanks.

Should I do the covid test in Rome on Monday ?

No do that on Sunday in Rome or at the airport when you arrive in Denmark since you said you are flying back to the USA on Monday.

Here is something that you may want to consider. According the the UK travel sites, A person with no symptoms is expected to self-isolate for 4 days in Denmark. A person with no symptoms is expected to quarantine for 7-21 days in Italy.

If you have time in Denmark the day before you fly out, that might be the best choice.
