I am planning on a 3 month stay in Italy probably April/May/June, and am looking to book accommodation in one of the following areas: Abruzzo, Tuscany, Umbria, Marche areas.... all are beautiful. This will be my home base. Does anyone have a reliable rental contact or agency that I can book with? I am looking for a location on the outskirts of a village within walking distance for walks, cafes, groceries. 3 bedrooms; and a pool would be fantastic. Privacy. Quiet. And extra bonus and wonderful, would be views of the countryside. Booking through an actual owner might be beneficial. Thank you all!

Also use GoogleMaps to zero into an area and identify properties.
Two popular real estate sites (not necessarily vacation homes) are www.immobiliare.it and www.idealista.it, they have the website page in English also.
You'll need a car to stay in the countryside.

Thanks for the info. I've looked at most of the more common ones on your list; I was hoping for a more 'personal' or direct contact.
And I realize it's pretty big areas, but thought that might help that 'it's not too specific' so more options. If I had to narrow it down; I'll go with Abruzzo and Tuscany.
