country lodging near Siena

I have delayed too long and the agriturismo I had been looking at is now booked for October and September (Marciano). I am looking for recommendations for other lodging in the area. The search feature is turning up very old postings.
thanks

Hi Claire, we are planning to visit a small, rural B&B in nearby Montegiove in October. We've not stayed there before yet, but the owner, Adje, has been very helpful over email and the pictures she's sent us look wonderful. Let me know if you're interested and I'll send you her email address. Perhaps we'll wind up visiting at the same time! -Chuck

Have you tried Agriturismo.com online?
Booking.com has many, many properties in this area. Even AirBnB.com has properties there--and just about everywhere.
I like to stay around San Gimignano and Certraldo.
Virtually every farm in Chianti and Siena has apartments and rooms for secondary income. I'm talking about hundreds of places to stay.
Go to GoogleMaps.com and put in any city. If you'll hit "+" 3-4 times to magnify the map, you'll see all the accommodations in the area pop up on an icon. Click on those hotel/b&b icons and it'll give you a link to the property's direct website.
Last time we were in the area, we paid 70 Euros for a two bedroom apartment with a full kitchen.
