I've been checking into getting a guided tour in Rome for a day during our trip. The info I've received back is too expensive. Some want $420 for 2 people for 3 hours. This seems out of reality for me. Any one have some good suggestions that are less expensive? Right now, we'll just do our own thing, but I do enjoy a good guide.
Not interested in the Vatican, but anywhere else would be ideal. Any one offer up some websites that they've found, or some tours they've used that are more like $100 a day?
There are 2 of us, and don't need a private tour.
