Does anyone have a name of a car rental agency in or near Cortona? Read somewhere where the Cortona Terontola area may have one. Is that far from Cortona Camucia? We just can't seem to find any info. We are arriving from Florence to Cortona via train. We wanted to do a day trip from Cortona to Montepulciano/Pienza for a few hours. We looked into a driver and they wanted 350 E to do it for three of us. Renting in Florence adds on an extra $100 for a drop-off fee. The only other options looks like taking a train to Chiusi or Arrezo instead and picking up a car there, but then we have to return it two days later since we are headed to Rome. Is there an easier way, or should we just skip Montepulciano/Pienza and opt for Asissi instead since a train goes there?
