We have been waiting for personal reasons to book our trip to Italy, but finally booked flights last night. Of course the places that still have availability are limited.
I found a beautiful place outside of town in Serdes (about a 15-20 min drive to parking for the main lift). There are a couple options for much more expensive and less nice places inside Cortina d'Ampezzo, but we really like this one.
How awful is it to find parking in Cortina d'Ampezzo the end of September? Will we absolutely hate that we didn't stay in the city center?
We're usually up early and will be visiting the last week of September. We are looking for some easy to moderate hiking trails and just take in the views.
