corsica, sardegna, sicily, Rome

I would like to travel from southern France to Corsica, then to Sardegna, then to Sicily, then to Rome--in April. The first and last connections are not difficult, but can anyone help me figure out the logistics for getting from Corsica to Sardegna and then to Sicily? I don't much care WHERE on these islands I will end up; I'm just looking for an adventure. Ideally, for plane connections from France and to Rome, I would go from Ajaccio somehow to Cagliari. I can't seem to find any reliable info on ferries, and the airplane connections are either difficult or exorbitantly priced or both.

Just got a terrific fare from Palermo to Rome on Airberlin.com. Unfortunately, I gave up trying to include Sardinia on this trip (late March) because of the ferry schedules and price.

There's a ferry from Bonafacio to Santa Theresa Gailura and another from Gagliari to Trapani. Also one from Gagliari to Palermo.
