Corfu, and Hiking the Cinque Terre

I want to fly into Venice, go down and hike the Cinque Terre, and then go to Corfu for a week. I am wondering if this is to much for a 2 week trip. I am also unsure where to fly into and out of to save time. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Any flight from Pisa, Florence or Rome stops somewhere en-route to Corfu It will basically be a day of travel.

Pisa or Florence are closer to CT; airfare from Rome is less the the others, but is a longer train ride from CT. Its a 'pick your poison' kind of choice.

How are you splitting the time between Venice and CT?

"Pisa or Venice are closer to CT"

I believe he meant to say "Pisa or Milan are closer to the CT". Venice is on the opposite coast and getting to the Cinque Terre will take 5-6 hours with several train changes (basically a full day of travel).

It would help to know when this trip will be taking place? You'll have to decide which of the five towns you plan to stay in. If you were planning to hike only the popular Sentiero Azzurro trails, note that only two of the four segments have been open for the last few years, and that situation is likely to continue next year. There are an extensive network of trails in that area, so you'll be able to do as much hiking as you want.

If your primary focus is the Cinque Terre, I'd suggest forgetting about Venice and fly into Milan or Pisa. There are seasonal flights via Aegean Airlines from Pisa to Corfu which operate from 09/06/2019 until 25/09/2019.

If you can fly into Florence, Pisa, or even Milan that would make more sense. Do the Cinque Terre first, then Venice, then fly from Venice to Corfu.
